Delete your data
Dial-Up Arcade by ComputerLabs · Android app com.dialuparcade.app
Dial-Up Arcade has no accounts, so there's nothing to sign in to or close. The only data we hold about you is your entry on the world leaderboard. Here's how to have it deleted.
How to request deletion
- Email dialuparcade@gmail.com with the subject Delete my data.
- Tell us the game (for example, Spud Cannon), your 3-letter initials, and roughly what your best score was. The app never asks for your name or email, so this is how we find your entry.
- We'll delete your data within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What we delete
- Your leaderboard entry in each game: your initials, best score, the random player ID your copy of the app created, and the time you set the score.
- Any reports you sent about other entries, and any reports about your entry.
- The spam-limit record for your player ID, which is the time of your last submission.
What we keep, and for how long
- Network spam limits. To stop spam, the server keeps a one-way hash of each network (IP) address and the time it last submitted a score or report. It isn't linked to your initials or player ID, and it's replaced the next time anyone submits from that network.
- Hosting logs. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, keeps request logs that can include your IP address. They're deleted automatically within a few days.
- Bans. If your player ID was banned for breaking the leaderboard rules, we keep that player ID and the reason, so the ban stays in place.
- Your email to us. We keep it only while we handle your request, and delete it within 90 days after we reply.
Data on your phone
Your settings, best scores, initials, player ID and ad counters are stored on your phone, not on our server. To delete them, open Android Settings > Apps > Dial-Up Arcade > Storage, then tap Clear storage, or uninstall the app. If you bought Remove Ads, it belongs to your Google account, so you can restore it after reinstalling.
Ad and purchase data held by Google
Google, not us, holds the data its ads and Google Play Billing collect. To reset or delete your advertising ID, open Android Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads). To manage the rest, see your Google Account data and privacy settings. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, you can also tap Privacy choices on the arcade menu.
For everything the app collects and why, read our privacy policy.
